The design process; we were inspired by the nature of life both physically and emotionally. At times life can seem challenging with no explanation, the name “melancholy” derives from “a feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause”. We wanted to incorporate the physical part of the nature of life as well; so the hoodie has a beautiful washed forest green color. Distressing can be found throughout the hood/ribbing to represent the “pain” we may feel at times. Life has its ups and downs, take it day by day.
